FATA Aluminium Worldwide Intellectual Property acquired by FATA Automation, Inc.

Sterling Heights, MI, March 6, 2009 – The worldwide Intellectual Property rights of FATA Aluminium an international division of companies formally of Italy, has recently been acquired by FATA Automation, Inc. The purchase included all IP rights, assets, trademarks, patents, drawings & designs used by FATA Aluminium worldwide.

“We are now in complete control of over 40 years of FATA Aluminium designs, patents and technology. Our goal is to remain a leader in the casting equipment marketplace and to continue to service our customers,” said Giorgio Donini, FATA Aluminum’s General Manager. “The United States is now our head quarters and we expect to announce a European based licensee in the near future. Existing customers around the world can currently contact us in the US directly for all support, spare parts and new systems. FATA Aluminium benefits from the wide and diverse strengths of FATA Automation, with increased capacity to reach new customers, expand it’s product offerings and support existing clients and equipment”. The company will continue operations under the new name of FATA Aluminum LLC.
